Minor Arcana

Future-sight and chosen direction: standing with power in hand and deciding where desire should go next.

- planning
- horizon
- choice
- ambition
- first command
Upright meaning
The fire has become direction. The Two of Wands asks which horizon deserves commitment before momentum starts spending itself.
Reversed meaning
The horizon is visible, but hesitation, control, or fear of leaving the known place keeps the choice suspended.
Symbolism
- wand — A held line of will, not yet released.
- road — The choice becomes real only when walked.
- mountain — Distance gives desire a shape.
- threshold — The known world and the wanted world meet.
Lore
The Two of Wands is the ruler at the wall before the campaign begins, feeling the world answer back from beyond the border.
In play, it appears when the player has enough information to choose a route, ally, project, or risk, but not enough certainty to be spared responsibility.
