Symbolism
- wreath — The completed circle and living boundary.
- threshold — Every ending opens the next world.
- animal-guide — The four witnesses at the corners, watching the circle close.
- star — The wider world, close enough to feel at home in.
Lore
In the Tarot de Marseille, Le Monde shows a dancer inside an oval wreath, with a creature watching from each of the four corners. This is the card of completion: a long cycle finishing, and a chance to see how its parts fit together.
In daily life, it can mark the end of a long journey, a milestone, or the moment a pattern becomes clear as a whole.
