Upright meaning
A new road opens before certainty arrives. The Fool asks for trust, curiosity, and the courage to move while the map is still being drawn.
Reversed meaning
The leap may be delayed by recklessness, fear, or refusal to notice the cliff. Pause long enough to tell faith from avoidance.

Lore
The Fool is the soul before the journey has explained itself. In old decks the figure is mocked, holy, poor, reckless, blessed, and free all at once.
